About Me

Stuart Whiteway
It dawned on me 2 years ago that the game of life is rigged. With the historic housing feeding frenzy and both buyers and sellers acting like "pigs at the trough" and subsequent financial meltdown which revealed the worst and most common human trait-greed. I began to take a closer interest in what made our world tick. While friends and family drank the kool-aide as I helplessly tried to convey to them the impending financial meltdown, I was met with ridicule and blank stares. How was it that all this greed and corruption that surrounded us, was so blatantly obvious to me, but not to others. while wages remained flat, I could see no sense in any of it. The maths did not add up. The new measure of how much wealth you had was debt. All this fake money being created out of thin air would eventually have to be paid back- or so I thought. It occurred to me that perhaps the greedy bankers who run the country were doing this by design. Surely with all the Harvard business degrees these Apes have, some alarm bells must be ringing somewhere. But no, the mantra was spend spend spend. Then when its spent, well print some more! This is where my blog comes in.
